Specular - emerging design from cologne
A group exhibition curated by Heiko Bauer and Pablo Octavio.
This exhibition showcases a range of works across object design, including lighting, seating, mirrors, and jewelry.
In selecting the pieces, we focused on creating both harmony and contrast. The exhibition blends futuristic and archaic styles: rough, sand-cast jewelry mirrors polished steel objects, and seating that looks hard and stone-like is actually soft foam. Organic forms are set against geometric ones. Each piece has its own story, reflecting the variety and potential of Cologne’s young design scene.
We collaboratively planned and executed the exhibition, debuting our works at Vienna Design Week 2024.
