In Germany alone, approximately 219kg of cardboard, paper and cardboard were consumed per person in 2020. This resource is the starting point for the project.

Roughly shredded and mixed with natural rice-based glue, the result is a mass that can be pressed into shape. Instead of being homogeneous and anonymous, the extremely rough and chunky surface reveals the origin of the material through its structure: imprints, colors and text fragments are partly preserved and result in a unique texture. 

„CPB“ is a new type of board material that takes up the constructive properties of corrugated board.
