The “Balance Disc” concept translates harmony into an interactive experience. Foods intended for dipping are placed in the recesses of a rotating bowl. As users engage with the contents, the shifting weight alters the balance of the object, causing it to tilt or spin. The disc is made from stainless steel sheet, shaped using positive and negative molds in a press. Subtle folds around the rim recall the look of a simple paper plate, creating a visual connection between casual dining and refined design. This dynamic interplay between movement and taste encourages mindful, shared enjoyment of food, turning a simple act into a memorable, sensory experience.
